- davidaistar TozlaC3-rCA, "How to Make AI Pixar Character Ads FAST" (
~/research/davidaistar/analysis/gemini_TozlaC3-rCA.md,analysis/animation.md). The reference he clones is a compression-sock ad (Hollo Socks): a cute vein character talks the viewer through it, ~85 s, 9:16 Pixar CGI. Beat order as he hand-tags it: the problem stated → agitation through specific daily pains → a tried-and-failed solution acknowledged → product intro with an explicit curiosity gap ("they work differently in two critical ways") → the mechanism, one technical line then the same thing in plain words → a final objection handled → CTA. Visual tags: dark/desaturated during the problem, bright/saturated at the turn; a gross or extreme visual as the scroll-stop. His adaptation for a creatine brand swaps the metaphor (flat peach plumping up) and sets a "big sister" register after a Q&A on tone, style (Pixar vs 2D) and length (85 → 60 s). Production notes: Seedream 4.5 for the Pixar look, ask for a 50/50 human/mascot split because models shrink the mascot, edit an 80%-there frame instead of regenerating, 480p video for cheap animated renders. Claimed scaling for IM8 / PetLab / Hollo Socks: his claim, unverified. - Keep: the beat order, the curiosity-gap line before the mechanism, technical-then-plain, the tone shift at the mascot's entrance, the 50/50 composition, the persona lock before scripting, edit-don't-regen.
- Change: our mascot personifies the SOLUTION only (the band), never a body part; the opener is a callout to HER, not the mascot or a gross body shot (Dawn is problem-aware; the stake lands on her); no lip-sync in cartoon-h3, so the default mascot has no mouth; our models are GPT Image 2.5 canvases + H3, not Seedream/Seedance.
- Foreplay 08_authority — Skincu body oil, 2:37 whiteboard explainer (
foreplay/08_authority.gemini.md). Beats: a demographic callout over a diagram → agitation (hiding the problem) → three failed solutions rated 2/10, 4/10, 6/10 with a one-line reason each → the product at "100/10" → mechanism (like repairs like) → a quick demo → offer + guarantee + user count. Problem-aware. - Keep: the callout opener, failed solutions each killed with one reason, mechanism then demo then guarantee.
- Change: the presenter is an AI spokesperson; ours is the mascot (recipe B: a person reads as testimonial, which loses in callout formats). Rated failed solutions are optional in beat 2 and stay generic (no brands, never bed shakers).
- Pilloway "I'm your spine" (TrendTrack, our style-refs
output/dawn-iterate-2026-10-04/video/style-refs/skeleton/STYLE.md). Talking anatomy characters hand off narration ("I'm your pelvis… I'm your spine…") and a happy pillow character is the fix, 3D CGI in real bedrooms, 49.5 s. Brand family: 100 ads, 629 duplicates, longest 119 days. The closest verified evidence that object/solution characters scale in the sleep niche. Keep: the "I'm [name], the [what I do]" self-intro (also cartoon-pipeline's rule). Change: one mascot, the product, not a body part.
Our receipts
- Recipe B (MAP.md §2B): brand voice to her $201K at ROAS 1.87; her burden $171K at 1.88; guarantee-only 1.84 / science 1.80 vs borrowed-person 1.50; independence payoff 1.83. Brand-voice SONG 0.72 (§2A) and character-less explainer VO 0 purchases (§3) are the risks this format has to beat.
- davidaistar diff (
analysis/diff_animation_styles.md§3 #1): mascot-explainer ranked the top new format; our villain blueprint (knowledge/blueprints/cartoon-villain-pipeline.md) personifies the problem, the opposite mechanic. - cartoon-pipeline villain_parade / talking_ingredients: Kling 3.0 native dialogue, one speaker per scene, rigid anthropomorphic objects only, "anthropomorphic [object] with huge cartoon eyes…" appeal language, 2.8 wps for Kling native (cp-014). Its Dawn product line ("no digital display") is stale vs product-truth.md.
- cartoon-h3:
h3.video_promptsays "No on-camera dialogue, no lip-sync" in every mode;pack.PRODUCT_IN_FRAME_REattaches the product ref on "wristband"/"the band"/"dawn band"; char refs attach by name match in the shot text (run.refs_for_batch);clipqa.DAWN_RUBRIChard-codes the teen boy + mother and the plain strap. - 10-01 wave-1 pixar sheets (Mom, Ryan, teen room, hallway, kitchen, face-free clock prop) are reusable; the 10-01 product-band sheet is screenless with a lit view (stale). The 10-04 disney3d product sheet is current (display dark).
- Yapper 10-04: H3-max image-to-video with no audio speaks quoted lines natively with lips (Fish: "yea its good"); route for a future on-camera mascot inside H3. Lane closed for photoreal 10-05.

Read: how-to-make-ai-pixar-character-ads, clone-ai-disney-ads, song-ads-ingredient-list-crossover, ai-zack-d-films-style-ad-examples, zack-d-films-ad-format-explained, best-ai-song-ads-swipe-file (Bioblade blob mascot). - Adopted: three-line intro shape "who / one job / what she gets" and one idea = one job = one picture (beat sheet beat 3; ingredient-list crossover: six ingredients, each one first-person job in plain words, sung in 219 words / 90 s vs 239 / 113 s narrated); mirrored mechanism, the payoff undoing the problem in the same words (beats 4-5; VIASOX teardown); close returns to line 1's symptom, brand spoken, a real CTA verb (beat 6; ingredient crossover + the four Zach-D teardowns that all lost the close); decision-moment QA pass on the last ~15 s (SKILL §10, §12; same teardowns: garbled pack text, miscounted proof graphic, heroine swapped on the money line, stray photoreal hand). - Already ours, confirmed: Holo Socks skeleton, curiosity gap, technical-then-plain, dark→bright mood shift at the fix (pixar-character-ads restates TozlaC3-rCA); one continuous VO sliced per shot (clone-ai-disney-ads = cartoon-h3 narrator lane); mascot = the product (his "make the product 80% of the body"). - Not adopted: (1) brand name printed on the mascot's side (clone-ai-disney-ads): no readable text / no logos in renders. (2) Cloning a competitor's 20 shots with our product swapped in: corrections 10-05 (beat the leader, never mirror). (3) Lip-synced talking mascot from a start frame ("mouth moving naturally"): no lip-sync in cartoon-h3 (core §3); stays variant K / registry candidates, one-unit proof first. (4) Claims as extruded numerals ("500" monolith) and coloured number cards: readable text; the claim-as-physical-object idea is kept without digits (sound rings bouncing off, motion lines on the wrist). (5) Disgust-hook opener (veins): Dawn's hook is a callout to her, no gross shot exists for this problem. (6) "Tap below to learn more"-style soft CTAs: he flags them himself as the weak point. - Claims are his: "Pixar ads are printing", Holo Socks 800+ creatives, the crossover ad "performed well" (no numbers). None verified by us.
